Tasha is a prime example of the hedonistic boss babe bitch that is one of two major female character tropes in odyssey (also see Margaret Faye, ironically a Christian but not quite the “right kind” and far too money/power hungry). I actually like the dynamic between her and Jason in these episodes because it’s coming off their almost marriage and kinda breakup because Tasha isn’t a Christian, still very stilted but definitely ominous of an eventual breakup. Oh, ya, the other women be shopping, submissive, soap opera addicted, and dead???

I suffer from a form of parasomnia which sits at the intersection of sleepwalking and sleep paralysis: I have vivid multisensory hallucinations with my eyes open, but I am totally able to move. Thankfully, because my eyes are open I wake up when exposed to light. Unfortunately, being able to move in the instance when one is, for example, woken into a night terror by horrible screaming, can lead to instances of, let's say, falling down a flight of stairs as you flee a Ditty-esque (Dittian?) monstrosity.

For a special treat, our youth group would occasionally go to Planetshakers or Youth Alive where I swear I would break down under the emotional manipulation and 'convert' to Christianity all over again having convinced myself I'd fallen out of favour with God. Our local Christian radio station played Adventures in Odyssey weekly after 7pm and you could get the books and tapes from the Word Christian book shop in the nearby town.
