Thanks!!! I always pin the models to this kind of bases; I drill an hole in on foot of the model (in both feet if the model is bigger), glue a peg of metal wire inside and I do the same on the base. This way the models become super solid and you do any kind of action pose!

My experience says that gluing on a painted/structured base may lead to never ending "repairs" when taking miniatures out of the box.
