PATRON SURVEY & March Progress Report!

TLDR: If you'd like to help me make this patreon better, it'd be wonderful if you filled out this survey!

I'll start this message off by saying, hey, whoa, I'm super glad that so many of you seemed to connect with "i wish that i could wear hats." It's always strange to share something you created with a large audience, but it's extremely strange to do that with something that's more vulnerable than you usually make, so it means a lot that people seem to like it! 

Also, my YouTube has broken 900k subscribers as a result of this video! Wild! Thanks so much!

OKAY HERE'S WHAT I'VE BEEN WORKING ON

Most of March was spent on YouTube-adjacent projects that I have been neglecting (which of course means I've been neglecting my actual YouTube projects and am behind on my next video). Here's a list:

• finally set up an archive channel for my Twitch streams
• finally released the songs from my videos as an album on Bandcamp/Spotify 
• finally worked on some new things for my merch store (which should be up soon)
• worked on my taxes, because I need to do my taxes, and boy are my taxes a real mess this year
• wrote stuff with Karen for projects/pitches that I can't talk about now
• did a few video things with Dropout (like Um, Actually and Dirty Laundry)
• started working with some folks at Patreon to do a refresh of this page...

... which brings me to this SURVEY.  I saw a few of you responding last month, saying you'd be happy to do a survey about the Patreon, so I've finally got one! (I ended up getting help from the people I've been talking to at Patreon, mostly because I don't actually know what questions are useful.)

If you've got strong feelings, or even lukewarm feelings, it would be great to have your input on what I could do to keep this Patreon going strong!

Hopefully, this will help me find what's working and what isn't, and then I can focus on only the things that work. 

WHAT I'M WORKING ON NEXT

Man, who knows. To be (maybe a little too) honest, I haven't got much in the ol' brain these days. Lots and lots of mush. Trying to juggle all of the projects I've been working on has meant I can only devote about 3% of my brain to any one of them at any given time, and that's been tough.

But I've got a silly little something-or-other for my April video! After Pumpkin Cowboy/i wish that i could wear hats, I needed a little refresher, so I am making the most nonsensical video I have made in a very long time.

Other than that, Karen and I are still writing a ton in our pursuit of goal to write things that aren't for YouTube, and maybe someday I'll have good news on that front!
