Important - About the monthly sketches

To cut a long story short, I'm thinking about stopping the personalized monthly sketches for the golden boar tier.
The way things work right now is just too much for me, trying to create 14 completely different patron sketches, plus around 4 paintings/pixel animations per month, plus working full time on my masters degree is becoming unbearable for me. Mainly because the latter one has been requiring extra attention from me lately.
The thought has been floating around my headspace for a while now (you can notice that I've 14 slots for the golden sketches right now, I've been slowly reducing the maximum amount as people stopped supporting me). It has also become quite apparent as I've been trying to work on the latest "sketches" (the pixel art ones) and completely underestimated the amount of time required to make them (to this day, after over a month with them, I've only ever got a couple of them sketches out in a really rough state).
So right now I'm thinking how to handle this situation.
I still own you guys for 3 months of the sketches (Feb, Mar, Apr) so I was thinking of letting you guys decide on the next 3 paintings I make (I was planning on making them about Tokyo Afterschool Summoners, so I thought that polls for the characters could work).
After that, things get a bit more murky. I could simply stop offering this pledge tier, or change the offered reward to something else. In a perfect world I'd be able to change the reward into something that wasn't such a time sink (as in, that wouldn't massively take me away from doing my "main" submissions).
Some of the things that popped to mind were a special discord channel that I'd use to share more sketches, previews, finished art without watermarks (right now I'm avoiding posting too much stuff in the "open" discord channel because technically it's accessible to all pledge tiers), etc. And maybe a private monthly stream (+ it's recording?).
Then again, I'm all ears for what you guys might suggest.
That's about it. I understand that me announcing something like this will make most of you either jump to another pledge tier or drop your pledges completely, and that's totally understandable. I still think it's gonna be the best for both my mental health and for the quality of my future works.

I think that if you're avoiding showing much in the open Discord then I think opening up a special Discord for only Golden Boars is perfectly reasonable. I think its best that the rewards for Patreon are something you can do passively (Like showing off unfinished animations and paintings that are in the works as well as removing watermarks of the finished product) instead of dedicating all this time to drawing everyone a monthly sketch (Which I remember seeing and thinking of how much of a workload that would be for you when I first looked through the rewards). Perhaps once you get your masters or make enough money from this platform, you'll have enough time to do something more extravagant with your rewards. But for right now, its best you just focus on your art and masters. Whatever you do, remember that most of us are just supporting you because we want to support you.

2018-04-06 13:40:24 +0000 UTCIt's understandable man, that's a lot to try to fit into every month. I don't really have any solid suggestions, but I'm also not worried about it. It's fun just getting to see the stuff you make! :) I suppose I'm never on the discord anymore either, and I admit I do miss chatting with you sometimes.

2018-04-04 06:05:13 +0000 UTCI'll continue to support no matter what you decide. But maybe instead of rushing to do a picture every month you do a picture every 3 months or so of all the golden boars instead of trying to do so many sketches every month!
