The Official GaMetal Patreon Halloween Poll 2021!

Hey Patrons!

So after several hours (if not days) of deliberation, I've finally decided on this year's Halloween Special nominees for you to choose from!

My goal was to have a series that we haven't had headline Halloween yet, and to, of course, attempt to have a close race among the contenders.

This year's Halloween Poll entrants are:

Dark Samus Battle (Metroid Prime 2 / 3) - We haven't done a Metroid song in quite a while, and with the recent release of Dread, I figure we could throw this one up for contention. It leans slightly on the atmospheric side, but I hear enough in both versions (which are generally the same with a few alterations) to work with.

The Dark Lord's Wrath (Miitopia) - Another great song from the Miitopia soundtrack that I could easily see fitting into the Halloween slot. Darkest Lord went over really well a few years back, and the series has since resurfaced with the Switch release.

Disco Necropolis (Graveyard) (Skeleton Boomerang) - Earlier today I asked the GaMetal Discord for some input on Halloween suggestions, and this one came up a few times. I wasn't familiar with it before, but it's definitely a bop and the game and stage fit the Halloween theme, as well as having it's fair share of fans.

Horror Fortress (Shade Man Stage) (Mega Man 7) - Another one that's come up a few times when discussing Halloween songs. I figured, Mega Man hasn't been a part of our Halloween festivities yet, so we could give this one a shot in the poll.
