How do you feel about Zhongxing then? He was kinda arrogant, but he explained why he did change/add certain things

2025-12-10 04:22:52 +0000 UTCSo I wanna comment on Shuaibo - I can not say enough about how much he has improved since Boys Planet, in more ways than one. It's not just about him improving his Korean, or even his dance/vocal skills. His entire attitude has changed. From my memories of Boys Planet, he was a bit immature and entitled. Unmotivated. Relied heavily on his looks to get him through. But here, while he acknowledges his visuals are a factor - he uses it more like a tool. Hard work and a collaborative attitude is his foundation now. I love how he came up with the modified pair choreo to highlight himself in a way that doesn't push down his teammates. He politely asked for the directors' approval, but was also 100% willing to go back to the original choreo. I also loved how he took Chihen under his wing and made him feel supported. (this was the first time I ever saw Chihen relax and laugh on the show!) Over the course of the program, I've noticed how very supportive he is of all the foreign trainees, likely because of his own experiences on BP. The language barrier, the culture clash, the slight othering, etc. It's really endearing for me to see him now be a source of comfort to others.

2025-12-10 03:30:27 +0000 UTCI found and fell in love with KAIRI x Woongki vocal combo. Every chorus in beat that had Woongki and Kairi combo was SOOOOOO good. Honestly gave CPR to Team Beat.

2025-12-09 19:02:27 +0000 UTCAs someone who had Woongki as a bias and Kyunho as a bias wrecker and really followed TO1… it really hurt watching them two act like this with each other. Especially since they were very protective and close back in the group. Kind of K-Drama moment for me. But one that pulls at my heart strings… For people who don’t know TO1 well… it’s kind of like if : Mathew and Gunwook suddenly acted this way towards each other after ZB1 disband… hard to imagine… even hard to witness when it happens.

2025-12-09 16:26:24 +0000 UTCBack in TO1 Woongki and Kyungho where acc quite close within the group. Then Woongki left due to “stuff”… obviously on the show they said the “PG version” of what happened… After Woongki left (TO1 most popular member), TO1 kind of completely died after his departure… and Kyungho kind of got stuck in WakeOne basement and toxic staff and certain member environments. Woongki left and cut all contact with members that stayed but he still keeps in touch with the other “ex TO1 member who left with him/before him”. So I think personally part of Kyungho resentment towards Woongki is, the fact Woongki left him there and just cut contact. It’s kind of like a friend who just drops you out of know where and you never speak to again… HOWEVER, Woongki had very valid reasons (if you know you know what happened) and honestly I don’t blame him, he chose to leave an environment that wasn’t pleasant towards him and cutting contact is part of the healing process, some people do… So I guess we could say Kyungho resent is “abandonment” towards Woongki Woongki’s is trauma from TO1 and memories he tried to leave in the past

2025-12-09 13:21:21 +0000 UTCTo anyone interested you can watch their behind the scenes for this episode here: https://youtu.be/mUym04sK7V0 At 2:14 Daisuke and Steven were hovering around Beat Bench and joking around with them. The friendship they fostered during this show is so fucking adorable, especially the inter-team ones you don't get to see on the main episodes :') so yeah, the diss battles are funny knowing the pds probably instructed them to play it up haha

2025-12-09 06:17:17 +0000 UTCHonestly, it was always weird to me how the starting line ups and bench line ups really do have that skill gap. But I guess there's a bench team for a reason and a starting team. Also, just my opinion but while Jiang Fan was the best dancer out of the 2 teams he was not the best player. His vocals and stage presence, to me, did not reach JL's. I think what also made it seem like Jiang Fan was even better is that his teammates were levels below him so he stood out. Like dancing, singing, and stage presence, none of them came close. Like JL was the best in the Rhythm Ignition but since his teammates carried their parts well, he did not seem out of place. I do think that not having the same choreography made it hard to compare the dancing between the 2 teams though (or any competing teams). Cuz Jiang Fan can probably also kill Rhythm's choreo and JL can also probably kill Beat's choreo (knowing how he performed in his Ppop group). In the performance, I saw Jiang Fan as trying his best and doing his best but with JL, he was like performing his best. Jiang Fan has this "do or die" unease in his performance while, to me, JL has a relaxed ease. I think that's what I love the most in JL, he never makes it seem like he is thinking of anything but performing while onstage. Like no worries or anything, even though he is always a ball of nerves. Again, just my opinion. And watching like a side to side of the two's performances (static view), you can see that Beat was lacking a lot.

2025-12-09 02:17:06 +0000 UTCHi PD...since you already finished the UL, you might want to check this out.. this is a fancam of Ahof's pre debut performance of Ignition, Butterfly, and Mama Mia. This fancam is much better than the broadcasted performance. You can see how in sync they are since this is like a whole frontal view. Their chemistry is so great. The link is below. Kindly consider plsss.. >__< https://youtu.be/qMOq7TyV4nk?si=e_gFDqHCa6XXCli2

2025-12-08 19:31:09 +0000 UTCI kinda feel stupid, but I’ve watched half of this show before and dropped it for whatever reason, but even then I don’t think I clearly understood what happened between them. From ur explanation, the group went thru a lot but I alr know that. I still don’t get the full story between Woongki and Kyungho specifically tho. Like were Kyungho and Woongki close and did Kyungho blame Woongki for leaving him behind (despite now, Kyungho also left as we can c with him being on this show) in that awful incident the group went thru (maybe feeling a sense of betrayal or abandonment) and that persisted until this show when they finally saw each other again? Bc it seems like it has to do with more than what their ex-group went thru, like more personal btw them as well (Unless I’m getting it so wrong and just reading too much into it)

2025-12-08 17:54:45 +0000 UTCWow, so actually I've been waiting for your explanations of why you disliked Dongyun and Li Zhiwei ever since you mentioned it weeks ago in chat and I'm like... That's it? That's all? 😅 I guess something in them really triggered you at that moment bc I was not expecting the amount of annoyance you had with either of them, two fairly basic forgettable trainees imo. Like even though I've seen this show multiple times, I was expecting a Yichen or Sho or even He Zhong Xing level behavior based on the response lol I was like, damn!

2025-12-08 17:29:22 +0000 UTCi see everyone else already mentioned the ahof version of mamma mia lol, so i'll instead provide some input on the kyungho-woongki rivalry and their situation because i was a fan from their group's debut. they were actually both in the maknae line back then, which is kinda funny woongki went on hiatus for anxiety a bit after to1's second release post-rebrand, then the group as a whole went quiet for a while. then, very suddenly, wakeone (to1's agency) posted a teaser of the group with three members missing - and three new ones instead. they also posted an announcement that the members woongki, minsu, and jerome (who you might now know as seongmin from onepact) had left after discussions about the group's "image." many of the to1 members who have spoken about the group don't have great things to say. not about each other, but about the group's situation. one of the main dancers, jisu, said after the group disbanded that he wasn't sure he'd ever dance again because to1 had given him such difficult feelings :( obviously, kyungho reveals some of the "issue" in the next episode, but i think the complicated feelings about their ex-group are doing a lot of heavy lifting to create a very awkward vibe too. i've been very happy to join for you reacting to universe league btw ^^ it's one of my favorite survival shows

2025-12-08 14:57:58 +0000 UTCi'm sorry the diss battles are so funny knowing most of them are so close behind the scenes lmaoo

2025-12-08 14:24:57 +0000 UTCAlso, I love that from this point on - it's ALL original songs! I think it's important for the starting rounds to do covers to show that trainees CAN replicate and interpret an existing song. But after that, I don't want to constantly compare them to the original versions. Plus, it helps that the caliber of songs produced for the show are VERY high (even if I personally don't vibe with Team Rhythm's songs)
