here after seeing this performed on award shows - what a FIRE song genuinely thought they would never top bag bad back for me personally 🧍 i am floored maybe its time to learn their names

Fame was a real surprise for me, I mean it doesn't beat Impossible as my favorite title track (which tbh might actually be impossible for Riize to ever surpass in my ranking), but it hit HARD immediately. I'm not sure anyone feels the same as me about this, but Shotaro's tone in his spoken word sections really reminds me of the way TVXQ U-Know raps (who also had a comeback recently 👀) and in that way it's kinda old school SM

After listening to their first full album and now this bop I might have to stan. I hope riize will continue with this sound

Omg the way that FAME also reminds me of BTS' Fake Love. Those trap or maybe bass sound ughh 😭👌🏻

Two additional songs have been released with FAME - def check them out! The song "Something's in the water" is def for many BRIIZE`s in the top fav RIIZE songs. I´m sure u will like it too! It would be awesome to see some Bonus Riize Reaction to FAME. The choreo (i mean, like always right) is soo good, and u are so right, they look especially good this comeback. I also lovee the concepts photos to this comeback - def doesn't suit the title track lol but god lord SM did something there - we love to see more of that hahahah

danita!

Absolutely their best title track to date 🔥

THIS RIGHT HERE IS WHAT I LOVE! I've never really gotten into RIIZE that much but omg this song might be it for me to fall for them! It might even be my fav mv of the year. Ill habe to go back and listen to their last album. But if they keep making songs like this Im gonna be in trouble! Also Sungchan....that is all!

Alison Renaud

I love this title track so much. The lyric is very meaningful and emotional. Riize express the song really good.

That's what I said too, "MY FAVE RIIZE TITLE TRACK FOR SURE" And the 2 bside songs are AMAZING too

I’m so in love with RIIZE, and I think I fell deeper for them after this. And actually, the members have been saying that this is like the new RIIZE in their Fame pre-alize videos.

ninskun

there are two other songs released alongside Fame, you really really should check them out. One is called Something's in the Water, this is realllly good and something they haven't done before. The other is Sticky Like. You may want to check out their Fame dance practice as well

I’m so happy they released a song I actually like. I think these boys are incredibly talented and funny but I can’t claim I’m a fan because I have been struggling a lot with their music

EnzioAkira

PD please check out the Riize Fame trailer. This trailer features a song from their new EP and the video has a really cool aesthetic and is beautifully shot. You can watch this video both before listening to the full song and after listening to it

This has always been a topic of interest to me, so I am happy to see others having a similar view of this social "celebrity fame impact" aspect. Based just on the knowledge I have of being a 5sos fan & seeing how they have gone in the trajectory of their careers from when they were teens in the pop punk space to today (as well as many idols as I've gotten into K-pop over the last 4-5 years) the idea of how that level of recognition on a social level can change people's views of themselves/how they believe they are perceived by the world without them necessarily "showing" it to the public directly, the psychology behind it has always been fascinating to me. Good luck on your paper, bcz this seems like such an intricate and interesting topic to discuss 😊

LOVEEE ur analysis of fame in the idol industry and constructed personas. i’m writing a research paper rn + it’s an analysis of “map of the soul 7” and songs by 5 seconds of summer, deconstructing how fame affects celebrities differently based on cultural context through the lens of carl jung’s psychoanalytical theories and your analysis is spot-on! i wish more idols explored these themes in their music but it’s a complicated topic. great vid per usual!

hazel !

I love that theyre diving into this new sound cause it totally works for them
