November Schedule

Hello my Group Therapy fam! It’s the turn of a new month and a new season. November is one of my favorite months because it’s a prelude to my favorite month of December!

And as a prelude, our November schedule is jam packed with fun stuff.

GIRL GROUP SURVIVAL SHOW

First off, you’ll notice that we have more listening parties than usual, 15 to be exact! This is nearly double the usual amount but man there were so many awesome releases last month, I couldn’t resist.

Now you’ll notice there’s no new girl group survival show to replace Popstar Academy. There’s a few reasons for that.

1. We ran repeated polls and Street Woman Fighter and R U NEXT kept tying multiple times.

2. By the time I decided okay I gotta just choose it myself—I ran out of time to fit it into my schedule.

3. The new show will begin in January!

I realize the poll tying and delaying my filming was actually a blessing in disguise. In December we’ll be coming up on my most straining yet exciting filming months—award show season.

• I will begin my filming for the new show this month in November, but I’ll be banking episodes because there’s no way in December I’ll be able to juggle my usual workload + award shows. So in December I’ll be filming award show reactions and releasing them as I film them with no delay, but the new GG show will not premiere until January.

• Of course as you can see, in return, this month I filled our girl group days with a lot of bonus gg reaction content, in the form of listening parties (ADELA!!!) and the long requested tripleS NXT & GLOW Spring Vacation mini series along with the return of SIGNAL binges.

• I’m also dropping JYP x Game Caterers as well as the sudden announcement of the new Starship x Game Caterers on our girl group days :)

• I’ll be doing the same for December, we’ll dip a toe back into some girl group variety content! My heart is currently with tripleS, TWICE, and LE SSERAFIM (omg I’m back in fancam territory watching Sakura and Kazuha solo cams for Spaghetti) so suggestions are welcome! (Separate post will go out)

I don’t want people getting too burnt out on survival shows so I thought this would be a nice refreshing change of pace. But the show that I’ve chosen to replace Popstar Academy is: STREET WOMAN FIGHTER SEASON 1.

THE DAWN OF A NEW BOY GROUP SURVIVAL SHOW

With BOYS II PLANET officially concluding, two much much MUCH requested survival shows are making their debuts this month: Universe League and NCT: LASTART!

Just to clear up any confusion reading the schedule: In week 1 for GROUPY and GROUPY+ tiers, we have a lot coming out so BOYS II PLANET the 13th episode finale will be unlocking, as well as TREASURE’s SHINING SOLO and a heavily recommended BTS JIN’s concert reactions. I was initially going to delay UNIVERSE LEAGUE EP 1 to WEEK 2 but I figured that’s what the GROUPY FIRST early access is for so EARLY ACCESS tiers will get Episode 1 a week early.

In WEEK 2, both the GROUPY and FIRST tiers will be on the same page again as EP 1 and EP 2 of Universe League will both release for GROUPY tiers as well as the start of NCT: LASTART!

So unlike delaying SWF1, it would be weird to start UNIVERSE LEAGUE and NCT LASTART and just pause it for a month so I’m going to try and cram filming UL and NCTLASTART episodes for both December and January into this month because I want to take it easy in December and only focus on award shows and rest the other days/exercise.

Can’t guarantee that I can get it all done but wish me luck!

DECEMBER AND BEYOND

So starting in December we’re getting THREE new Drama Club shows. It’s a little complicated but hear me out!

• Lovely Runner will be replacing When Life Gives You Tangerines based on previous poll voting.

• Alice In Borderland Season 3 will be replacing Weak Hero Class 2!

• Also note that Business Proposal is ending for FIRST tiers in December so there will be ANOTHER new show in January.

A poll to replace Business Proposal will be out sometime this month.

And as a very very special reaction series I’ll be releasing a purchasable reaction collection of ‘Stranger Things Season 5’. I’m sure like many of you, this is a very special series and show to me, been following this journey since it first released back in 2016! It’s been a 9 year journey!

I’ve had a few people asking if I could react to it and so I’ve come up with a compromise.

Patreon allows the ability to sell one off purchases, and I’ll be reacting to all of Season 5 in December and the entire reaction volume to all 8 episodes will be available for purchase for $20.

Now I know this may sound like a high price but hear me out:

• This isn’t K-Pop and will be OPTIONAL. You do not have to purchase this special set.

• The entirety of Season 5 is a total of 19 HOURS. That’s roughly pricing my time at $1/hour which I think is completely fair.

• So while our typical K-drama shows are like 16hrs for the whole series, I usually spread it across a few months. I’ll be trying to binge 19 hours of filming all within in a single month while juggling the award show reactions along with our regular YouTube and bonus drops.

• I’m having to pay my hospital bill which is currently $10K. I absolutely cannot bring myself to ask for donations or set up a GoFundMe. I would rather trade my labor for compensation. So if you have wanted to help pay my hospital bills, this is a way to do so!
