i really hate how k-fans treated woojin this entire show after it came out he was a wakeone trainee they sent pretending he was independent whilst they praised and voted for geonwoo who was the same case and also had the controversy around him

2025-10-08 12:26:23 +0000 UTCHonestly, in episode 9, Jun-seo was really disappointing. I even felt sorry for Dong-gyu and Masato. Jun-seo seems to have a desire for a leader and a sense of authority because he is an elder, but I think that's too much for his ability... I'm sure there are people who disagree with me. I know the cast are young, inexperienced in stressful situations, and there must have been an impact of editing. But if you've ever worked on collaborative projects with new people... hmm.

When the merge happened, he went down to two stars and never returned to three star, and barely made it after the elimination. This is his second survival show, and based on everything, he probably had a lot of pent-up frustrations from the overall situation.

Like Jennie was probably stronger individually like you said, but the performance wasn’t as cohesive as Lalala which actually had a concept intergrated into the choreography. Like Jennie also had the double-edged sword of being too popular… I love Sangwon but imo it was silly for him to go for a popular song just because it’s popular LOL like dude you’re popular enough on your own! I was dying for him to do Tambourine instead… or even surprise us by going for vocal! Rose Blossom was 100% carried by Haneum. I absolutely adore Liyu’s vocal color especially on his opening line. When he has the confidence and the right training, he can do so well. Master Hanbyeol actually likes him a lot and even told him that he could “really be a singer” during Sugar High, but of course Mnet doesn’t air that… Anyway I think Junil messing up the rap caused a domino effect of panic that made it all go downhill from there. My personal favorite vocal performance was Run To You.

2025-09-24 18:47:02 +0000 UTCi’m going to assume PD has just heard about the geonwoo situation from third parties and doesn’t know the details because knowing everything the victim said and the fact that they had to go into counselling bc of geonwoo + posted proofs of it too… to then say the leader did nothing wrong and it’s ego or low EQ is crazy. so i’d rather hope PD just didn’t know details at all and it’s just people’s comments that shaped that opinion bc that would be disappointing lol bc there’s definitely ways to be harsh and practice hard without giving people mental health issues and lifelong trauma in the process. nobody straight up defended geonwoo btw… the only one who did was a trainer in the company who confirmed geonwoo did all that but used the excuse of him being a leader and saying the company told him to be extra strict and cold towards the other trainees (though that company (bill ent) was also accused of playing favorites w geonwoo, so a statement by someone working there was always going to be shaky). rheo/lee donggun (boys planet 1) had their own statement because ppl accused him of being the whistleblower and were sending him hate (he’s not), so he just commented on it saying he doesn’t know the details bc they were never close + he was often out of practice due to vocal nodules and going to the hospital. He said he knows how the accuser had it hard but told them to stop and move on bc geonwoo released an apology (this was before he took it down again btw) the only debuted idols to come up in the convo around geonwoo are park hanbin and sung hanbin. the only one to mention geonwoo at length is park hanbin, but it was talking about their trainee days together at cube, which was before geonwoo went to bill ent and met the victim, thus it’s just not relevant to this issue at all. people can be nice sometimes and have mean moments in their past or ppl they’re nice to and people they’re not nice to 😭 i just could never support anyone who messed up someone else’s life

2025-09-24 18:46:14 +0000 UTCI believe park hanbin was one of the people who came out in defense of geonwoo, as they were both in cube at some point. Coincidentally, I think geonwoo reminds me of park hanbin in his leadership style

2025-09-24 15:27:55 +0000 UTCPD, I think you missed the biggest reason why some people are here, trainees are like assets to labels right, so the better assets are doing on the fair the more they become in value and the word spreads across the world. So these trainees are put on this show to gain attention from the global audience. That is why Redstart send their trainees that are now in TIOT, the label isn't well known, but Junhyeon made it into the finals last time, same with Kamden in Ampers & One.
