Thank you for reacting to this PD. In haechan's word himself, he said that he didn't want a pop easy listening album. He wants an album that has a sound no singer in korea, idol or not, has ever produced. Haechan wants a sounds so intricate and heavy, he wants the listener to be blown away and think, wow this is a really good song. Now we've seen the result. Totally mind blowing work. And i loved how Deez brings a tone that haechan has never produced before. Like the humm in the beginning of camera lights, i thought it was someone else. I never heard that tone from him. So I'm happy that haechan still has room to grow, given his 9 years idol experience. Maybe you can check out talented dance practice and special stage too, his moves ugh. I'm on the floor.

2025-09-20 04:00:45 +0000 UTCThank you! About the barley tea, yeah, Haechan has been drinking that for a while because it's more healthy than the tea he was drinking before (a corn tea?). And something I didn't think of until hearing "Talented" again since after the Listening Party: it kind of gives Prince inspiration. I can't explain it. I'm a very basic Prince listener, so besides "7", "1999", "Let's Go Crazy", "Little Red Corvette", etc. I don't know that many Prince songs. "Talented" gave me a little "7" from the overlaid vocals before the chorus comes in. "one second you're falling" is what the lyrics before the chorus says for "Talented", I think. My other thought for what other inspiration could have been for "Talented" is Bobby Brown. I wanted to say 80's Keith Sweat, but "I Want Her" doesn't sound remotely like "Talented". And my mind is all over the place because I'm randomly associating EXO's "Artificial Love" with "Talented" because of the "Don't play with me" from Haechan and then the "Now you wanna play me" from Baekhyun. And the scatting part in both songs. Although the scatting from "Talented" only made me think of the Justin Timberlake jingle with McDonald's, but improved. One more thought then I'm done, I swear. "Should Be" didn't just give Brian McKnight "One" and "Anytime" vibes, it also gave me Sisqo "Incomplete", which is kind of funny because in one of those NCT YouTube channel videos, Mark sings "Incomplete" for the karaoke thing 127 played with. And, another fun fact, Haechan wrote those lyrics for "Should Be". Now crazy people can speculate who he broke up with and who he almost married.
