Whoever trained him taught him how to run his teammates into the ground with hard work while simultaneously lifting them up with his words and attitude. It’s incredible.

Even Harry, who’s the team’s maknae - E-chan and D1 raised them so well 🥹 throughout the entire show you never hear them put down a teammate or complain. And even with limited screen time it’s common knowledge that they were both involved in creating and teaching choreography to the other members. I fell in love with DKB during Peak Time, it breaks my heart that they’re not more successful.

2025-09-16 01:22:39 +0000 UTCthey did yichen so dirty it makes me go insane. multiple trainees after getting out saying he was translating for them (bc mnet didn't have enough translators for them all), but they don't even ask him in any of the screentime "hey yichen why were you not in practice" bc it'll make the program look bad for not just having more translators so a trainee doesn't have to step in to help the ctrainees...

Only 200 contestants get to vote and Mnet knows whose cheering for whom (so obviously they give clickers to trainees' fans they like). It actually becomes a huge issue in the next round. Basically, very popular trainees are usually voted against to make their position fall. Hence, why Whiplash Team 1 almost lost bc the majority of popular contestants were on that team, so the quicker they can lose leaves a glimmer of hope for someone whose fav isn't that popular.

I low key wished that mnet allowed him to have at least one interview explaining why he ended up missing a few training sessions/was late to the sessions. I know that there were some trainees who confirmed that i think...?? cant remember who though. And I know that sho wanted to show another side of him, but his voice didn't really suit the main rapper parts in my opinion😭 And actually for the kill the romeo 1 star team, guozhen (the one who Zhongxing was talking to and ended up having a slight fight/disagreement after rehersals) actually said on a Weibo live that their fight wasn't as bad as it seemed. he said that they were both stressed, and that zhongxing may be in his own world at times, but he isn't a bad person. When I watched his livestream, I could definitely see the stress a bit more, I'd say.

Like I’m not doubting he could be off key but the actual mixing for the show sounded like they cut out his singing for a second and then back into the high note but the audio was isolated like someone pressed pause then play, just weird idk

2025-09-15 18:18:29 +0000 UTCRising Sun is such a kickass song that it’s a double edged sword, you either nail it 100% and you’ll be legendary or you can’t live up to it then it can really hinder you, IM NOT A SINGER OR VOCALIST BY ANY MEANS so as a civilian listener, I liked Sun Heng Yu more bc it felt like that guttural cry; also Jiang Fan WAS INCREDIBLE how does he sound and move like that he was so great

2025-09-15 18:03:48 +0000 UTCI don’t really understand why the producers included this Yichen storyline of him leaving, I understand if the struggle is him falling behind, but why include him leaving but no resolution as to WHY ? From a production perspective I don’t understand this because the audience doesn’t get an answer or an interview with Yichen (we find out later, not by the show mind you, they never answer the question that this storyline asks, but from other people that Yichen kept being pulled to help out with translations like on his previous shows) and they just try to squash it with Lee Jeong and wrap up pretty quickly
