On the GDA reaction, I mentioned being really hopeful for their concept and sound and they really are moving in a direction that’s unique amongst the other bgs coming out recently. I had a feeling you’d enjoy their work so that’s why I wanted to push for them so hard. The members themselves do have a sort of skill gap between them (there was a lot of controversy surrounding their finale/final line up because of this), but the producers really worked everything together so they all look cohesive and sound great together. I think as they continue to work together they’ll start settling in and create very beautiful work. They have a three year contract so I’m very enthusiastic about what they have going for them! They’re going through the rookie growing pains, but there’s something incredibly charming about them.

I also thought it was clever that, from my understanding, the group scenes by the pool and all that are implied to be the end result of Kenshin (the pink haired member) altering the story for them to meet each other. That’s at least what I got from that last scene when he’s writing in the room to when he walks outside
