As if it was like: “Okay… TaeMin left SM, let’s make Ten THE SOLO ARTIST of SM” Not that their music was similar, but in the way of TaeMin being so big with his solo and now SM wants to do that with Ten, so they give him his own comeback (which would have happened regardless, true), but then they are preparing him for a Japanese solo debut and then there is WayV comeback planned too… Like… they must have thought: “Huh… so Ten does not have to enlist, interesting… 😎😎” (By the way… the TaeYong & Hitchhiker song is called Round)

I’ve probably re-watched the video like 2 dozen times and both the imagery and song are so layered and interconnected. The “puppet master” theme is a bit Nightwalker-esque, right? So there is something very meta where he is giving a storyline that actually matches up with his previous hit, but is so so different. He really is playing with us and he knows he has us on the hook.
