I did know ahead of time of Erens full turn to radical during this last season but to actually see oh boy 😬 also I just keep thinking poor Levi of all the guys who wanted nothing to do with anything to be in bc charge of so much and being almost dragged along by duty is wild, and how did he become like the actual heart of the scouts now that everyone’s gone a bit ballistic yikes this writing is good

Also… the scene of Niccolo being beaten by that dude at Sasha’s grave… that just shows how simple and quick it is for people to start to behave the way someone else behaved towards them, despite it was not the same person but “someone from that group of people, who actually was not involved in anything beyond preparing a very good meal”… The statement of: “You, Subjects of Ymir, are all the same” (regarding their race)… that was a bit incorrect. Like I get what he meant, but they are not all white. Mikasa is mixed (white and East Asian) and Levi is either East Asian or also mixed. I enjoy so much the moments of Levi making it crystal clear that he wants to kill Zeke so bad! But there are conditions, which don’t let him do so right now… and him having to follow them makes the situation so funny to me 😹😹 Armin questioning everything this whole episodes makes me wonder… What do you think Erwin would have done if he was the one to obtain the Colossal Titan? I mean… In the scenario of attacking Marley. Most likely he would have wanted to make sure Eren does not get captured by Marley, but I wonder whether he would have come up with even crazier plan or what would have his mindset been considering his “only goal” was finding the truth and the truth is what he thought it was (people living outside the walls), therefore it could have led him into: “Letting it all be/retire”. Because besides Armin’s peaceful nature, he was fully biased in that scenario of attacking Marley, because Eren is his best friend, so it was not just about “for the good of Paradito people”… Regarding Annie… hmm… she was able to “crystalize herself” thanks to being able to mimic the War Hammer Titan’s power of doing the same. I guess she must have learnt how to undo it too, otherwise it would have been just to make sure she will not tell anything in case of being captured or that they will not torture her, but besides this plan related to her mission on Paradito Island, it would have been pointless to be dependent on the Jaw Titan all the time to use this and being able to undo this. So… besides the usual explanation of: “Eren knew he has to keep her there like that”, she must have chosen to be like that the whole time on her own, which makes sense and it explains why she cried before doing that (besides thinking of her dad). If she did not do so, she would have been killed, so this was the only option to stay alive, but even if she managed to escape, she would have come back to Marley without anything, therefore it leading her being killed/served to another Warrior or/and her dad being punished too. So considering the sudden switch of everything and Eren beating her ass, she just quickly chose the option to stay alive, without any deeper plan or thought.
