Soobin isn't often able to taunt older members so it was refreshing to see him go back and forth with Wooyoung. I think he has done such a great balance keeping it professional while also teasing the guests. It helps the atmosphere. I feel like he comes out of his introvert shell more to help others be at ease. Also as an Ateez fan I feel like it's rare for someone to "Out tease" Wooyoung so this was a great watch for me.

2025-01-23 03:43:16 +0000 UTCWooyoung is actually still really strict about hierarchy and is known for enforcing it! they talked about it in an interview as well "MZ래서 불렀더니 꼰대질만 하고 감" - here it was mentioned how Woo kinda reprimanded the KQ trainees back then, Xikers now, about manners and behaving in front of elders... so I can see why it may be hard for others (or little Soobin during Big Hit times) to get close to Wooyoung at first. Which is funny in hindsight, because Ateez have mentioned that when Wooyoung joined KQ as the last trainee to debut in the team, his efforts to get close to everyone was actually the reason they formed the Ateez bond... The others weren't too sure about someone joining their lineup so last minute (apart from Yeosang who he was trainees with before in BH). But generally from what I could tell and also judging from what Woo said in his documentary, the friends he makes he really keeps close. So Soobin (and Yeonjun) who Woo mentioned quite a few times over the years must be really important to him... also to joke around with Soobin like that on camera! I loved the chemistry and the banter between these two and honestly could watch hours of them just yapping away...

2025-01-22 19:39:01 +0000 UTCTo give you a little background story of Wooyoung being a Bighit trainee, Wooyoung and Yeosang were both Bighit trainees, but after Yeosang left Bighit/got dropped by them (not sure which of the 2 happened) Wooyoung decided to follow him to KQ entertainment. He is still very close to the members of TXT (especialy Yeonjun, since they are in the 99 club with Changbin).
