super late commenting here but WINTERRRR!! i cant believe i never watched the live stages for these!! ive just been going around listening to spark, its been on my playlist for months now and i thought “i wonder if PD has done a listening party” MY EYES HAVE BEEN BLESSED this is why winter is my bias forever 🥹

Surprisingly bored and up, I loved it more on performance level but not on an audio level. Spark and Dopamine is the one I have on my playlist.

2024-12-03 00:38:57 +0000 UTCFun fact: all the members participated in either the lyrics or the production of their solos and especially Up gained a lot of hype after they first performed it on tour. The girls actually had to advocate for releasing these solos officially bc SM first refused/waited for a long time even though the hype was getting bigger and bigger. When they finally did release them on streaming platforms without any promo, Up instantly topped the charts and even got RAKs and music show wins.

2024-12-02 20:36:49 +0000 UTCI swear, if SM play their cards right, all of them have the vocals, dance, and charisma to not only go solo, but to ✨go solo✨ That said, I was so disappointed with the production value behind Giselle and NingNing's solos. Like, Elle got a couch and Ning got a different perspective shot? That's it?? At least Karina got better choreo and camera angles. The only one they did justice, imo, is Winter's. Even with the lighting doing some heavy lifting, it wasn't at the expense of the other elements; the choreo, costuming, and song were fire. If they put that much effort into ALL of the girls, they will be unstoppable. period.
