Muse Poll Update Announcement

Just wanted to let you know that starting with this month's Muse Poll, in addition to the Muse Poll deciding which story gets a 4,000+ word update, the second place runner-up (the story with the second-most votes) in that poll will also receive a 2,000+ word chapter update the following month. This new rule will apply only to the Muse Poll.
Example: Assume there are 10 total votes in a Muse Story Poll. Hypnotic MILFs gets 5 votes, Mesmeric Gaze gets 4 votes, and Memory Alteration gets 1 vote. Hypnotic MILFs will win the poll since it received the highest number of votes and will get a 4,000+ word chapter in the following month. Under this new rule, since Mesmeric Gaze finished with the second highest number of votes and thus was the second place runner-up, it would receive a 2,000+ word update the following month.
If there is ever a tie among the winning stories, whichever story loses the tiebreaker will be considered the second place runner-up. If there is a clear poll winner and two or more second place runners-up receive the same number of votes, a tiebreaker will be held between them to decide which will receive a 2,000+ word update. If there is a unanimous winner, a second story will be updated at random.
The second place runner-up in the Muse Story Poll will be considered a winner in the main polls so it won't be available as an option in the forthcoming Story Appreciation Poll. It's my hope that this change will lead to a greater variety of story winners and increase the likelihood of people seeing updates from their preferred story.
