NEW MUSIC: "American Blood (Aberration)" by Angleton's Orchids
Added 2025-03-17 18:59:11 +0000 UTCOur cohost Don, whose music you may remember from the outro to our Intro episode, or to the Jacob Silverman interview, is working on a new song, inspired by Wendy Painting's incredible book, "Aberration in the Heartland of the Real: The Secret Lives of Timothy McVeigh," and Don DeLillo's 1983 essay on the Kennedy Assassination, "American Blood."
That essay was expanded into DeLillo's novel, "Libra," which gives a fictionalized but fascinating account of the life of Lee Harvey Oswald.
Anyways, while Don keeps working on the song, with hopes to get some real backing audio behind it (reach out if you're interested in producing!), we wanted to share the demo with our much beloved Patrons. Hope you enjoy!

Idk what you mean, but yeah she does; we’re friends and she is an incredible (and incredibly brave) researcher and writer for whom I have great respect and admiration.
