Welcome New Patrons!!!
Added 2024-12-22 15:12:01 +0000 UTCWe wanted to send a note of welcome and thanks to all of you who’ve signed up recently and reaffirm our heartiest gratitude to the OG crew that have been with us from the ground floor. We really do love and appreciate you all.
As you’re probably sick of hearing us say on the pod, we really do work more than full time in our day jobs and fit this work into any temporal crevice we can find. Most weeks one or both of us will pull at least one all-nighter to make sure the research, outlining, recording, editing, and of course our signature soundscaping gets done to our satisfaction before publishing by Friday. We have no outside help.
That said, we’ve not had as much time as we’d like to check in with you, pur beloved patrons, so we want to take the time now to solicit your feedback, suggestions, questions, and conversation. What would you like to hear us talk about? What other content would you like to see? What guests would you like to hear from? Please reach out to us here, on Twitter/Insta, or by email to let us know! We’ll also post a dedicated Q&A solicitation where you can drop questions for us to cover in a special patrons-only episode in the new year. Our digging knows no limits of depth.

Meanwhile, we are planning to use this space more. For example, we’ve gotten some requests to post our whole episode catalogue here, and we’re going to do that. We’re also going to share some short written content so this will be like a Patreon and a substack all in one. So as above, let us know what you’d like to read about. We do consider ourselves in community with you fine people and seek collectively to unblind our eyes from the ubiquitous deception that overwhelms our every sense.

Happy holidays, thanks again, and, as always, keep digging.

i would love to hear you conclude the JFK mini-series by giving your personal opinions on what really happened that day in Dallas. I know it's huge and impossible to fully untangle, but i love hearing peoples' various theories.

2024-12-23 05:06:33 +0000 UTCThis is a great suggestion. Definitely a tough one, too, since forcing politicians to do anything in a fundamentally undemocratic system is an incredible challenge. We will give this some thought, though, for sure. One thing to recommend in the meantime is to deepen one’s understanding of the colonial reality of Israel. I’d recommend the Israel/Palestine podcast series on The Dig and Subliminal Jihad over the last year or so that have covered a lot of less-known aspects of the history.

2024-12-22 16:34:44 +0000 UTCI would be interested to hear more of your thoughts on Palestine and the Middle East in general, and how we in the United States can make a difference or speak out against our government’s actions. I know movements such as BDS and the protest encampments on college campuses can have an impact on the public discourse, but I’m curious to hear your thoughts on what else could be done to force politicians to make real policy changes.
