Oh, well, at least Elliot seems a lot happier than the last time we saw him! Besides, busking builds character. I'd say they were pulling themselves up by their bootstraps but they lost their boots along with all their money so that metaphor doesn't work. Hopefully Jackson isn't too pissed. Speaking of, I wonder what he's up to?
