🌊Poll - Delmar and Henry's language

I currently have the story set up where Henry speaks only English, and Delmar speaks mostly French, but knows / can speak a bit of English. I'm wondering if it should be the other way around - should Henry know a bit of French? What do you think would be more fun to read?
How it'd look: The French words will be the most prominent in the speaking character's word bubble, with a light gray translation below the words. I want French and English to be both prominent in this story, and I feel that's the best way for the reader to get the feeling another language is being spoken without having to have no clue what's being said. Subtitles on a film, if you will! But in a comic-book-friendly way.
