A BRIEF LAB-COLA UPDATE

Figured I'd film a quick bit while I was in the car about to sort some things out at the post office. There are now over 700 orders, with about 10 being sent out...this is going to be a long weekend, but I think I'll manage (eventually). The hardest part so far has been extracting all the names and addresses. PayPal isn't built for several hundred transactions on the same page and gets bogged down VERY easily, so I've had to get creative. And plus, there are certain orders I need to fix (either an address wasn't attached and I have to check all the messages for it, or somebody from outside the US didn't read the "I can't ship overseas" bit and I have to refund). It's been a very eye-opening process for sure...up until now, my experience was limited to selling small batches with tiny samples of weird chemicals like thioacetone lol. Now, I'm buying up all of Amazon's available caramel color and a gallon of glycerin to make bulk cola samples!

From my trips to the post office, I've learned the best thing for me to do is purchase a label printer and sign up for USPS's Click-n-Ship. That will allow me to print and ship all the addresses at once! I tested how fast I can process orders, and I think I can manage 100 per day if I lock in! In other words, hopefully everything ships by next weekend! Of course, if I've learned ANYTHING from taking on projects, it's that it always takes longer than expected...so maybe by February? I don't have time to email everyone individually and explain the wait, so all I can do is hope people don't start freaking out and refunding their purchases early!
