New Video Friday

I had no idea whether anyone would want to sign up when I started this page, so it's great that there's been quite a bit of interest already. Today's new video is a rock n roll/rockabilly classic: Lonesome Train (On a Lonesome Track) by Johnny Burnette & The Rock n Roll trio. I particularly love the solo to this one, played by Nashville session ace Grady Martin. Great touch and rhythm, and loads of nice rock n roll licks to steal. If you don't already know it, the whole rock n roll trio album is well worth checking out. Jimmy Page was a fan - Led Zep used to do a great version of their Train kept a rollin'.
I'll sort out the web page for the lesson tomorrow, and I'll also post a link here to a PDF of the tab and the backing track mp3 exclusively for you good people.
