Forest Trail [26x34] - FREE Release

**The Trees hem in close to the wagon trail that winds its way through the depths of the forest. Steep embankments thick with brush flank the route, providing ample cover to any who may ambush those on the road. **

A free 26x34 encounter map, The Forest Trail! Paths through the forest are a classic random encounter location for all manner of campaigns, so hopefully it should prove useful. Steep embankments either side of the path add a tactical element that makes it ideal for ambushes on the road.

We've included Tiles to add a bit of replayability. Following on from our recreations of the 'Lost Mines of Phandelver', we've included the Goblin Ambush from the adventure with slayed horses peppered with arrows. A wooden fort could guard the pass, blocking access to any who travel through. Or a ancient statue guards the pass, adding a bit of mystery. Lastly, you could exchange the trail for a winding river stream to give a less well trodden encounter deep in the forest.

All this is free and included in our Foundry Module for anyone to try out!
