There's a fairly substantial update coming to the DMW Patreon! Scroll to the end for a TL;DR!

I am re-structuring the tiers (your tier pricing is unaffected; don't worry!) and as a result of this, it's going to streamline things a lot for you guys, but mostly for myself so I can provide the content you're all craving/supporting us for.

In terms of Patreon exclusive content, there will be a slight pivot from the original idea for Patreon - which was exclusive monthly documentaries.

The change will be that the monthly videos won't be documentaries most of the time, and the reasoning for this is that they're genuinely too difficult to pull off to the standard that I require for DMW in a reasonable timeframe.

This is evident with the Patron as there are only a couple of Patreon exclusive videos, when the goal was for monthly ones. There are four different videos that are partially edited for Patreon that I have not had time to finish.

The big pivot for all Patreon tiers is guaranteed monthly videos (sometimes two!) but they're going to be commentary style videos. This doesn't exclude documentaries entirely because there will be Patreon exclusive documentaries every so often...

...like for March! March's Patreon exclusive video will be a "YES! Movement" documentary.

By making this change, it guarantees high quality documentaries for you all every so often, but also provides you all with videos that I can create without spending multiple 8-hour days editing, whilst also working full-time in retail.

In terms of early access for videos, this is undergoing a major change.

The change will be that Patrons will get guaranteed early access to videos SEVEN DAYS in advance before being posted elsewhere. The current model is a couple of days early and sometimes only a day, so this change is massive for the Patreon and gives more bang for your buck.

That means you'll get videos a week before YouTube does.

There will be a few additional tiers added, with additional perks, but all tiers from yours upwards will receive the same extra video content.

On top of that, there will be monthly votes for content you'd like to see. This will start next month.

The video podcast will continue to be posted here in their entirety, exclusively for Patrons (and YT Members who pledge). This will not change. The audio version of the pod is available everywhere.
