Dev Log — October 2022

Hi everyone!

I'll try to do this new thing where I release a dev log near the beginning of every month to let backers know about progress, status, news, and future plans ❤

Because I often share upcoming content with backers on Discord, instead of Patreon, I feel I have neglected backers who isn't active on Discord in the past, and I hope this will make it easier for backers to follow the game's development.

Roadmap

As most backers might know by now, I am trying to crit-path our way to a Steam release that could be crucial in spreading the word of the game and increasing the player base significantly. For that reason, I have worked out an actual roadmap for what I believe we need to be ready for a release on Steam!

The data overhaul is being worked on now, and has been taking much longer than expected! But I'm almost done with this and then the game will be much better geared toward handling many players.

The blue titles on the roadmap mean these are features expected to launch before the Steam release, while green titles mean features that are expected to launch with the release.

Steam Release FAQ

Will the game continue to be free-to-play?

Yes, you won't have to "buy" the game once it's available on Steam, and everything currently available in the game for free will continue to be so.

Can I still play the game through my browser?

Yes, the game will continue to be available through the browser and players will be playing on the same servers, meaning the community won't be split between platforms.

Are there any plans for Steam-exclusive content or game modes?

It will be possible to buy some quality-of-life services through the Steam client to help support the game and encourage Steam to show the game to more potential players. Until I find a solution for having a web store for the game, these might require players to buy these through Steam.

How will the game be monetized on Steam?

The game is planned to have a Story Mode where you play as a set character in the universe that is a peer with named NPCs. These will be premium standalone romance stories that play similarly to more traditional adult visual novels.

Players will also be able to buy extra character slots for their account and other potential quality-of-life improvements.

Upcoming Sex Toys

While I continue to work on the programming aspect of things, one of the game's associated artists has been working on upcoming sex toys for the game. Here are some previews of some dildos and I've attached more!

Players will also be able to equip dildos as underpants, which will attach the dildo to a strapon!

New Clothing Set

Addtionally, another artist has been working on a new clothing set for the game: Mad Scientist theme! The set also includes a more traditional lab coat for those who wish to roleplay as a scientist who isn't, necessary, mad!
