A fond farewell!
Added 2023-04-01 17:10:25 +0000 UTCHey there folks! As you may have heard on the main feed, we're finally calling it quits after a couple years of adhering to an increasingly erratic schedule without ever making an official decision. Obviously that means that having a Patreon up would be weird as hell, so it's going away as of next month. We'll be pulling the plug on April 31st, right before the next billing cycle begins.
If there’s any bonus content here you want to save for posterity, make sure to download it before the 30th of April, because after that our page will be archived and no longer available. We want to thank everybody who supported this Patreon from the bottom of our hearts — you made this possible, and we appreciate the holy heck out of you!
Thanks again, and ride the crab!

Very sad news. I have long loved this podcast. My parasocial relationship with you guys has helped me through some rough times, and the show has educated me in my own podcast production. Lots of laughs and insights to remember. I wish you both well. Be happy, and have the success you deserve in your future projects. Much, much love.
2023-04-27 22:23:40 +0000 UTCI'm very sorry to see IDEOTV ride off into the sunset. This show was a major bright spot during the early and middle part of the pandemic for me as I worked through your back catalog. I wish you guys the best. I joined Patreon for the first time ever last night in order to pay you back a small measure for all the entertainment you've given me. I also wanted to get hold of your bonus episodes before they vanish into the ether. I've downloaded 60 or so bonus episodes, dramatic readings and songs, which I look forward to listening to over the coming months. HOWEVER! As far as I can tell, I won't be billed by you until May 1, which will be *after* you shut down this page. I think that means that I won't be billed in support of IDEOTV. Is there some other way I can support you two? Otherwise, is there a charitable cause that I can give to in lieu of compensating you through Patreon?
2023-04-25 19:28:00 +0000 UTCSubscribing to this patreon has been on my list for several years now. Finally got around to it, just in time! Best of luck in your future endeavors. Also, releasing this announcement on april 1st kept me wondering, at least for a bit.
2023-04-21 02:11:57 +0000 UTCI regret most that I never got to share where I saw a copy of 'Wild Animus' in the, uh, wild, in a used bookstore during a vacation near Traverse City, Michigan. I left it on the shelf, but I did pick up a dubiously factual book from the 60s about the Bohemians of interwar Greenwich Village and this delightful, bad-but-well-meaning self-published novel about the race to develop a radical new microchip technology (instead of flat chips, *spheres*) that can cure the Y2K bug and also lead society into a new utopian harmony of peace and understanding, as heralded when a taping of the Oprah^W *Orpha* show somehow breaks onto every TV set in the world.
2023-04-17 23:20:14 +0000 UTCThank you for everything, you got me through a lot of dark times and I’ll always remember this pod fondly. Best of wishes to you both in future endeavors!

2023-04-15 19:32:52 +0000 UTCThank you both so, so much, for making me smile, laugh, grimace and think about the world, as well as turning me onto countless pieces of GOOD writing and music. Onwards and upwards! I hope whatever you two do next, together or otherwise, is fulfilling and exciting.
