"Atari Force?" you say. "Is that the ineluctable manifestation that ended the viability of commercial arcades, by and large?" No, and why are you talking like that? Atari Force was a mild comic of my childhood, but, as Jay reveals here, before that, it was different comic, given away free with the purchase of that most innocuous of products, video games.
Is it Atari Force's problem that so many of us are the way so many of us are? How many drawings and alien names can you rip off from Battlestar Galactaca? Is it Galactaca or Galactica? Or something else? When Bob Marcus fights the Malaglons, who wins? Will the Antairae let the hoo mons colonize? Will Lydia let Martin give her a great big kiss? The answers to ... let's just say some of these questions just may lie within the pages of ... Atari Force!
(Atari Force don't read this.
