Patreon updates are coming!

Hello family!

I have an important update to share with you all today. I've done a lot of hard thinking about AI and the future of content recently. Speaking with some other creators online and having some good conversations about what we see on the horizon has kind of opened my eyes a little bit and I just want to share my conclusions and what I am going to do about it with respect to my own work and happiness!

First of all, comics are what makes me feel good. It really makes me feel like I am creating something original, expressing my own feelings and desires as well as sharing something I can really be proud of. A piece of myself that I feel like some actual talent and thought went into! I work HARD on them and I am always trying to get better and better. This last year has been an incredible journey and I have learned SO much and I am thirsty for more!

That being said, the AI art landscape is, in some ways, a relentless content grind. The pressure to produce is immense and the competition is very fierce... and it's only getting started. We can only expect more and more creators over the next months and years down the line... who knows what the art arena will look like!

The point is this... I feel like comics and stories are what makes me different. It's what I am passionate about and I hope that kind of shines through in what I present. While I do enjoy some image sets and fan art, it's not what engages me! I don't feel truly interested in all of them, I don't truly KNOW the characters sometimes, I feel like with me doing fan art, you are getting a half-Kate version of what I could be doing. There are so many other creators out there that are turning out amazing fan art and image sets and I absolutely encourage you to follow them! But for myself, and the quality bar I am aiming for, I need to be making something more. Something I am truly engaged in and passionate about.

So with that being said, my goal moving forward is to be almost exclusively focused on comic releases. I may drop some little fun sets here and there if they interest me but the primary goal for me is to be a full time comic studio!

What does that mean for the Patreon? Basically, the tier pricing/benefits are going to change.

The comic tier is going down to $9 and you can expect 1-2 full length releases per month and maybe a short bonus test release as we kind of try new themes to see what you guys are excited about. With the quality bar I am trying to set I think I can reasonably get two full sets out per month but I do also work full time so I want to give myself some flexibility.

The starter tier is going down to $3 and it will essentially be a WIP tier as well as select single images from comic releases. And MAYBE the occasional fan art/image set but don't hold your breath!

This change will make me a much more happy and balanced person, I promise. I'm the type of personality that really needs to work on things I am EXCITED by and this change is exactly what I need. Obviously no hard feelings if it's not for you! I completely understand and I hope you stay with us on the discord just to hang out or catch some sample.

And to those who will stick around, I LOVE YOU! This has been such an expansive and eye opening period of my life. Some of you know, I come from a pretty conservative family so being able to have an outlet for this type of expression is absolutely incredible! I'm really looking forward to what the next year brings and lets make some kinky stories together!
