Celtic Nipple Sacrifices
Added 2025-07-25 05:09:23 +0000 UTC
Per our editor:
"Favorite Human Sacrifices, Nippleless bodies. Where do we put water to decrease the sea level. Trump Flooding an entire section of America. Aidan wants to fight someone. Drowning the vatican. Constitusional republic vs constitusional monarchy(Single vs Dual head of state) Aidan trying not to sound racist but totally"
This is a pointless nitpick because your point still stands but ms13 is actually mainly Salvadoran not mexican 🤓

Being an academic (and arguably overly educated), one pet peeve of mine involves improper grammatical use of well defined terms -- i.e., such as using the word "theory" when you actually mean "hypothesis."
_"A hypothesis is a specific, testable prediction or educated guess about a phenomenon, while a theory is a broad, well-substantiated explanation of a range of natural phenomena that has been repeatedly confirmed through extensive observation and experimentation."_

Wanted to jump in about green roofs: they are very tricky to engineer. Roofs are mostly designed to get water, vermin, and debris off as quickly as possible to avoid structural damage and weight distribution issues, but a green roof involves sort of doing the opposite and keeping a ton of water and debris and extra weight stable up there. Hanging balcony and window gardens are a much more feasible way to cool the air for most styles of architecture, which is why hey they have been used in many societies since ancient times.

Got so confused in the middle of the episode as to where the definition of dandy went and it just appears towards the end to give us context for earlier..

Kemi Badenoch, the Black woman British Politician, is head of the Conservatives and the opposition. She advanced a lot under Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak had to keep her in the cabinet because she is popular. Don't ask me why. My favorite description of her is, "She could get into a fight with herself in a paper bag." The right wing press barely tolerates her; the leftist press is less kindly.

Many European countries have the split of head of state/head of government without a monarchy - as noted, Germany does, as does Ireland and Italy. I actually do think it helps w/ politics, because the President is usually a well-respected non-partisan figure mostly who can represent the country, while the Prime Minister/Chancellor/etc. is just a politician and given the respect politicians should - ie. zero which leads to less idol worship of politicians.

Not one word of that was racist. It's racist to not acknowledge crime just because it's being committed by another race. Equal rights implies equal responsibility to uphold and follow the law

The biggest difference between a serve (in german Unfreier literally "Unfree") and a "free" peasent was that the unfree man didn't have to fight because he was directly under the protection of his Lord or knight or whatever, and a free man had to fight if his lord called him to fight. There were Traders that were Unfree because it had also many advantages. "Free" didn't mean the same as today. A medieval farmer would probably show up in nearly the same equiqment as a man at arms because he was the wealthiest man in the village and the village would probably have a Warwagon. Also if you are citizen of a city aou would have to be able to fight for the city. The "laws" (real laws didn't exist in medieval europe, it was more like a "right of habit or tradition") of the city would say what you have to own. The lowest income had to have a spear, called "Spieß" in the medieval writings what made you a "Spießbürger". Masters of different trades and member of guilds would have a whole armory to equiq not just themselves but their whole Household meaning everyone living and working in their home. Halberds weren't common north of the alps, a cool detail is a call to arms where they listed how many they had with which weapon and there stands: "500 Spearman and Martin with the Halberd". And the squires sitting on the side is pretty near to reality. At the beginning of the Knighthood that woas normal in the HRE (Holy Roman Realm would the better translation by the way). The Infantry would stay back at the camp and protect it while the knights on their horses fought each other because they were unlikely to die because money.

Germany has the Chancellor, which is the head of the goverment and the President who is the Head of State. And we and Austria are like the US a federal republic. Germany has 16 States and Austria 9. We call them "Bundesländer".
