Shade, where's 3.0 ?

Yes it's been promised a while ago, and still not there. I can understand the frustration especially since the release was mostly about fixing the issues of the Beta.

Thing is there was a lot, but this part has been dealt with a long time ago. Having a decent facetracking and eye tracking was a huge step but it's also good to go by now. So why is it taking so long ?

About a month and a half ago, the files were ready to go but then there was two things missing : The promotion movie (3.0 is by far the biggest update to the model so far, doing a silent release would be a waste), and the tutorials.

Tutorials are something I handle myself so I decided to keep it for last minute in case there was minor changes in the appearance / hierarchy of the files.
As for the movie, we got our lot of unavailabilities with the producer, plus bad luck sometimes, and it never got done... Which brings us to the end of February.

Something personal important was happening and dealing with it was complicated, it literally kept me from working, and doing other things (covid also did hit but even though it was pretty bad for a few days, it's nothing compared to the rest). This just swallowed the whole month. But I'm back, things are moving again !

The Awtter 3.0 is gonna get a last major change to it before release, the eyes.
I've really had enough with this huge mess the eyes are and the tricks I had to pile on top of each other to make it to look "decent". They are also a big problem for the incoming ARKit package so I decided to rework them from scratch with a different tech. It's been implemented on the Awtter submitted to the VRChat Avatar Jam (btw it made it finalist so it's available from the official VRChat Public avatars UI).
Having them running on a public model is very different than a customer customizable setup so it's gonna take some more workies. It's close though ♥
