New StoryLoom Game Concept

After the success of Zombie Exodus: Stronghold, I am planning to write another story for StoryLoom. Since my readers are interested in games based in the zombie outbreak or post-apocalypse, I have come up with a number of ideas for the concept of my future game. Please vote for 2 or 3 of the concepts that you like the most. I will refine them and run another poll next month to vote for the actual concept.

Also, the names of the concepts below will not be the name for the game itself. They are just placeholders for now.

---

Stronghold Sequel: a continuation of the story, after the fall of Stronghold. There is no way to transfer characters from one game to another, but you will be able to re-create the character and choose some of the outcomes to simulate the ending of the last game.

Nomad: This concept you on a journey across the United States, showcasing varied landscapes and remnants of different places and cultures. As a nomad, your objective is to document the post-apocalyptic world, encountering diverse communities and making decisions that affect their survival and the lives of those you meet.

Vampire Survivor: In this dark, Gothic setting, you are a vampire caught in the zombie apocalypse. The game explores the challenges of being a vampire who must navigate the complexities of your own survival, such as the need for blood, while also dealing with the zombie threat. Ethical dilemmas arise when deciding between protecting humans (and their blood supply) and the primal instinct of self-preservation.

Echoes of the Fallen: After a harrowing encounter where you are forced to kill a zombie in self-defense, you discover an extraordinary ability: you can communicate with the ghost of the zombie you've just dispatched.

Awakened Undead: You are a zombie who has mysteriously regained sentience. While still appearing as a zombie to others, you retain your human consciousness. Your journey involves navigating the post-apocalyptic world from a unique perspective.

Signal of the Lost:  10 years into the zombie apocalypse and most of the world is gone. It has been years since you have seen another survivor, living alone with the infected. After years of isolation, you suddenly pick up a mysterious radio transmission indicating other survivors. The game revolves around your journey to locate the source of the signal, facing hordes of zombies and traversing treacherous landscapes.

Countdown to Outbreak: Three days before the world descends into chaos from a zombie outbreak, you're thrust into a race against time, armed with the foreknowledge of the impending doom. As you scramble to gather supplies and prepare for the inevitable, you face the critical challenge of convincing others of the looming catastrophe.

Cyborg Survivor: In a world overrun by zombies, you play as a highly advanced android designed for combat and survival. Your biomechanical body grants you enhanced strength, agility, and durability, making you a formidable force against the undead.

Comments

Agreed that there is so many stories I would read. Pre-outbreak is the most interesting to me. So many stories happen anti or post apocalypse and I know 3 days beforehand isn't a great deal of time, I love to see how a person begins, in contrast to how situations change them.
