Though the amnesia trope is used often, the setting and circumstance in which it's used is quite unique and I think that also helps with the game's popularity. I feel the magic genre is overly saturated so i would assume it would be difficult to have something stand out from the rest. Just a guess, though!

Maybe wait until they have an option to choose ur protagonist that might get more people into it when it’s out.

Thanks for reading it. I really thought the magic game would go well, but I do think it may have been a misstep. I am surprised the trial game is doing so well on the platform. Maybe it is just because it has so many chapters.

I am currently reading Your Trial and I am enjoying it. Choosing the name/appearance/gender of the protagonist would be nice, but it's not important. It's the story that counts. I'm a 40-something mother who works in forensics, but I have lost myself countless times in books where the protagonist is a man in his 20s and managed to feel what he feels and place myself in his thoughts and situations because the writing is that compelling. In all honesty I won't read the other story on the site, just because I don't like the "magic" genre, but I absolutely would read a zombie apocalypse VN. I can't recall ever seeing a VN set in a zombie outbreak. (Though my experience with VNs is very limited)

Unfortunately, StoryLoom does not provide us with the type of variables that allow players to choose their protagonist. I think they are working on it, but it wouldn't be available by the time I work on this game. I completely understand why you would not want to play it, though I think it could be fun (especially since it is free, and we can build it altogether).

As a long time fan and backer since the original Zombie Exodus, I would be interested as long as the protagonist is not set. The reason I did not try your other storyloom game is the protagonist seems to have a set name. I would guess the rest is set as well although correct me if I am wrong. I play these text games to create my own character and I avoid those that do not let me as I am not interested.
