Making Smudge Sticks

This post is for the witchy ones among us.
In this short demo I will show you how to make and burn a "Smudge Stick" from sage.
This is an ancient tradition which also has modern benefits: natural cleansing, antimicrobial, and aromatic properties.
I like to burn sage after a period of illness, business or depression. It helps me "cleanse my space"... and it also smells lovely!
YOU WILL NEED:
A fresh bunch of sage, preferably picked or from an organic source.
String
Scissors
A candle

Oh wow I didn't know. This has prompted me to check what I buy. To be honest I don't really purchase any pre-made items anymore because for me witchcraft is all about collecting and creating your own items from nature... or finding things in charity shops. Hana makes all my candles from scratch so I'm a lucky lady. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
