hello from the sickbed

Hello Humans,

As I write this to you now I am recovering from a very nasty throat infection that has somewhat derailed my monthly plans for patreon... I had planned to put out a couple of tutorials and a livestream by now, but alas my vocal cords have packed in for the time being and (I know) I need to rest. I've been in bed since the show on Wednesday, dosed up with penicillin, paracetamol and strepsils.

Talking is hard, swallowing is painful and singing is absolutely out of the question so alas I pulled out of the show on Friday, trying to get well for next week.

So. This is just a quick wave 👋🏻 from the sickbed to let you know what is coming, it's just going to be in one big ball of love rolled out at the end of the month:

Livestreams on tour 🪗 from Wednesday (provided I'm fit enough) I'll be opening for and playing in The Velveteen Orkestra in London, Sheffield, Newport (with Catherine Elms) and Liverpool. There's going to be plenty of opportunities to stream the shows for patron, so keep your eyes open for that.

Monthly Vlog + Photobox 🎥 this is a big fat whopper as in January we went to Belgium to write the follow up Crimson Veil record. This will be a chance to hear snippets from the new songs, and behind-the-scenes in the studio. Also find out about one of our weird tour rituals...

Sage Spell 🪴 After a period of sickness or depression, I love to cleanse my room with a burning sage wand. In this video I'll show you how to make one and use it to cleanse a space, and why this practice is so good for health all round.
