Thank you so much for being a huge part of it's creation! I'm absolutely over the moon to have it in the world, it's an album I'm deeply proud of... mostly cos it's just so weird and varied and I didn't really plan for it. I feel very lucky to have worked with such an amazing team of musicians.

There were some bumps along the way - my co-collaborator Jonny has been dealing with some monumental life changes and in the end couldn't be there for the launch party. He was sorely missed, but we plowed on and the night was a big success. Have a look at some of Bryan Taylor's pics...

The night was full of music, laughter, love and the most amazing vegan food (made by my sister and her team at Home Community Cafe).

I'm excited to see where this project goes next. I plan on creating album #2 as soon as possible...

Meanwhile, I've been spending a lot of time singing in my new vocal booth, writing, recording and just general feeling on top of the world. I'm soooo looking forward to sharing all this music with you.

Yes yes! I have a special guest as part of my livestream this month.

His name is Phil Johstone, and (like me) he is a multi-instrumentalist, writer and performer in several projects - The Qwarks, The No See-Ums and more... we got to know each other as we're both artists on the Not Saints label, and both into some very similar music.

I'll be interviewing him about his musical influences, career and having a chat about a new collaboration project we'll be embarking on this year. I can't tell you much more but it's going to be wonky.

I'll post the link to watch Monday afternoon and we go live at 8pm sharp!

ℍ𝔼𝕏 - 𝕋ℍ𝔼 𝕊𝕆ℕ𝔾

Finally, this month's official thing is going to be the next Birdeatsbaby single, HEX. It's an absolute beast of a song.

The video is maybe a few days away from being ready but it's the biggest thing we've ever done so I want it to be just perfect before I share it with you here. 

However, I know you will enjoy the song though and I think it's such a crazy one it might be better to process the music first and the visuals later... I can't wait to hear what you think!

The other tiers will also be coming at the end of the month - photobox, a cover (Pink Floyd this time) and you top-tier demons are due to receive something in the post too...
