Dearest Patrons,

I'm sitting in for a very quiet New Years with Garry and my lovely step-kid, Elise. We've been singing The Sailor's Wife together but she's changed the words to "life is by the trees", I think it works.

2021 was a bit of a wobbly one, wasn't it? I felt like I was either progressing forward at the speed of light or massively underachieving, and there wasn't really a middle ground. I'm looking forward to (hopefully) more stability, and more gigs. A tour would be glorious but we shall see.

We'll be spending the first few months of the year really getting into the recording stages of HEX. One track (Ribbons) is almost ready to go. I'm hugely excited for this 6th album. Can't quite believe we are still going sometimes.

Anyway I'll not prattle on too much, I just wanted to say THANK YOU. Thank you for sticking with us for yet another year of music and madness. Patreon is my favourite place on the internet, which makes you my favourite people. I imagine I shall do some more livestreams very soon, the last one was brilliant fun.

Till then, have a wonderful New Year and we'll see you in 2022.
