Welcome to Autumn.
It is officially that little bit colder, darker and I’m feeling it.
I’m absolutely dreading the return of my arch nemesis: The Cold. I’m making plans to move somewhere warmer… but until then, I must continue on, wearing big jumpers and avoiding the outside as much as possible.
That’s good news for you guys cos it means more music on Patreon!
This month is an electronic mash-up between us and Vienna Ditto/The May. We started it near the beginning of lockdown and have been bouncing files backwards and forwards ever since.
The concept is based around the decay of society, morals, ethics and a general feeling that humankind is descending into its final stages on the planet. Cheery stuff as ever. Anyone left behind to witness the end of the world will be a ‘ruin’, hence the title.
As you’ll hear, the track descends into chaos at the end, a beautiful cacophony of synths, noises, guitar and strings. It’s fucking weird.
I do love an apocalypse song. Hope you do too.
