GeoPix 2.0 Workflow Teaser ( new Coordinate Sets feature! )
Added 2021-03-22 14:38:39 +0000 UTCThis video show cases some workflows you already know from 1.0 and some new ones coming to GeoPix 2.0. One of the bigger features that will help you create precise content inside or outside of GeoPix is the Coordinate Sets feature. Previously you could only lay out your Pix in 3d space, and project onto those same coordinates through projectors. Now Fixtures can have a total of 4 coordinate sets, the default primary set and 3 additional sets you can use however you'd like. One might lay out the second set on a 16:9 flat canvas area, or another option is to create abstract mappings of your various fixtures. This can make it easier to get creative with use of simple content to make things like noise/sparkle effects, or chases that go down the length of a strip no matter how it's situated, etc. --- There will of course be detailed and slowed down tutorials and in depth videos on all of these topics later, but for now enjoy the time lapse :)
