Traditional sketches

Here's a small collection of traditional drawings I did recently~

I did the first page while watching New Getter Robot together with Fyre: I really love how they render the demoniac expressions of the character and the robot itself so I wanted to try to draw the same with Alita (since she should be very scary when angry).
I am planning to make some digital illustrations out of them!
The other sketches are pretty random: the humanoid heads on top were experiments to draw the nose similar to characters in Dumbine (another robot-fantasy anime I've watched recently), the Dragonair came up in my mind since I saw a picture of it on DeviantArt, the dragon on the side was an experiment to draw something with a different head type and the two dragons on the top left corner are a bad depiction of Sabyrael and her offspring with a note regarding her species, "parthenogenesis", which is still a WIP.

In the second picture there's an angry Aelia: she was tired, nobody listened to her or took her seriously despite her competence so, when somebody make fun of her calling her "banana", she didn't took it too well and decided to kill them.
This one will be a future digital picture as well~

The third picture was totally random and an exercise to go back drawing with my beloved pen, which has always been my favorite traditional tool - before migrating to digital art I drew almost everything with pens. Nice result, I think I will share this one as it is since it came our so nicely!

Last one is another random sketch I did while dealing with a not so pleasant conversation; it helped me relax and stay calm, focusing my emotions on the loving exchange of the picture. (Alita's mother) > Tayran's mouth should have been a little longer, but heh, maybe I'll fix this digitally too? Lol.
