At some point of her story, someone took Nelliel's eyes; this illustrations represents the various steps of her recovery.
In order from top to bottom:
- First one is pretty obvious, no eyes.
- Her eyelids have been sewed since she woudln't have needed them anymore.
- Wops, what are these? Her eyes started regrowing thanks to her very advanced regeneration abilities. They're red since there is no pigment yet, she still can't see.
- Full recover, still very silent and wary because of the trauma.

2021-03-26 14:28:34 +0000 UTCShe was kidnapped, imprisoned to be kept hostage and used as extortion for information because of a secret project her husband was working on; she opposed to her gaoler and destroyed an experimental machine used for electrical torture (electricity and any device based on it was very new to this age, so it was also very expensive). They got angry and pierced her eyes with a white-hot pointed iron bar. When they freed her they also tried to kill her before she could reach her husband, but she survived.
