I've shaken up the tiers a bit!
Added 2017-05-30 02:37:46 +0000 UTCHi guys, I have to level with you. When I first started on Patreon, I wasn't entirely sure about what to offer for my tiers. So I think it's been ok, but I don't feel like I've been able to offer you guys the value I'd like to in support for your patronage, so I have an idea to change that.
Obviously, I'm a working artist. When I started Workbench a year and a half ago, things were a bit slow. But 2017 has been the exact opposite. I've had plans to start an expression tutorial series that I wanted to debut in the summer (and I mean summer for places where it isn't already 94 degrees outside), and I just haven't had time to get more than a basic outline built because I've got projects three deep on my calendar. I've been mostly doing my tutorials on Thursday nights so I can work on my client work on Fridays.
So, I started to think about how I could reorganize the tiers so that the things I offer will be more valuable to you, but easier to produce for me—because they're things I'm already producing for myself.
Instead of having rewards like BTS stuff from my tutorial shoots that I have to build separately, I'm going to offer presets, and textures, icons, and just elements in general that I'm building while working on client work. And for the higher tiers, I'm offering more scripts.
So I've shaken things up a bit, but I think it'll be better for you overall and you'll hear from me more frequently. Thanks for your support!
