Thank You For 2018!
Added 2019-01-01 00:26:58 +0000 UTCLike... actually thank you, though. This time last year I was well under 1,000 Subscribers, and now we're close to 6,500. It's been a year full of ups and downs, the most egregious of the bunch being Payday-related. 2019 is going to be a bit of a tough year, and I'm going to have to figure out where I want the channel to go, but I'm not quitting Payday 2 content cold-turkey, there will still be the Starter Guide as well as ~monthly Build Randomizers. I'll be writing new episodes throughout the end of my Winter Break as I head back to Lincoln Park, and my goal for the new year is to loosen up just a little bit, a bit more comedy on the channel (akin to how the Jiro and Scarface Builds, Four Souls Review was) while still maintaining an analytical outlook and general overuse of the word "gestalt".
I have taken some of your choices for a new game to cover into consideration but don't really have much to show for it yet. When I get back to campus we will continue to livestream Warframe as part of a "Not-So-Quick Look" and we'll experiment with both unscripted content based on other games as well as more scripted general gaming stuff. At this point, the channel is getting places and I'd like for it to gain momentum into 2019, especially because I see it as being able to eventually become a reasonable part of my living and worth it enough to justify the likes of a new camera or commissioned art assets. Let's stay hopeful for the coming year and I'll see you in 2019 with more stuff for you to watch and enjoy. Hopefully.
