Gisele is an absolute beautiful human being.

Dave, you did a beautiful job on this one. The compassion you have for Gisele is obvious, and the gentle way you presented her story is an antidote to the horrific abuse she endured. It's impossibe to imagine five dozen women agreeing to rape an unconscious man.

What a tragedy she, and her children, experienced, and what a tragic basis for women to relate to one another.

I'm glad you felt the tribute was hitting the spot and I really hope Gisele herself, if she were ever to see this, would feel like her story is being spread in an appropriate manner.

I think the most powerful thing I heard in this video was Gisele's words "It's not my shame, it's theirs" That really hit hard and I couldn't agree more. Screw those absolute monsters. I didn't get into it in the video but a big part of the trial was questioning those 51 men and asking them why did none of them report this to the police, even after they admitted that they had concerns that this potentially wasn't consensual on Gisele's part. I'm so sorry to read that your struggle as a victim has been a difficult journey. I'll always do my best to bring awareness to this issue and hopefully this video is a good step in that direction.

Continuing to talk about it openly is one of the bravest things anyone can do, considering how hard people fight to keep us silent. The backlash is overwhelming, the rumors, the lies that are plastered onto you when you call out sexual assault or just abuse in general is not by accident. We have fostered this abusive culture like it was our own child.
