Taylor Schabusiness Trial

I understand that she might want to make it more understandable for a group of people who may have zero interest in psychology. But the whole thing came across like she was unhinged.

I don't know if they're told to "project" or what, but there was an uncanny amateur dramatics feeling to the whole thing, which felt inappropriate given the nature of this case. It certainly didn't do much for the credibility of an already weak argument. While I'd not heard of this case before, I absolutely agree with your assessment. If she hadn't been put away for this crime, she would no doubt have sought to do it again. Crimes where the perpetrator gets a rush out of it are rarely a one-and-done.

2024-10-03 15:25:54 +0000 UTCShe is a 14 year old girl who was sentenced to life w/o parole by jury trial just about now. The full trial can be found on youtube I think. A very bizarre case if you ask me. Obviously they are gonna appeal the verdict.

From what I could tell she had a few psychosis related instances that saw her go to inpatient centres around the age of 14. The state's psychologist seemed to believe that could be zoloft related rather than bipolar. I have heard that bipolar can react negatively to zoloft, so again, it's a chicken and egg argument...

Did she have any hospitalizations for psychosis when not in custody? I think she could be disturbed, traumatized, meth addicted, exaggerating, and still be a calculated manipulator.
