2024-09-10 01:14:03 +0000 UTCIt's super interesting. I actually fell somewwhere in between the two thoughts here. Anjuan, for example. I got the impression that he was trying to look tough on the stand, but has been deeply affected by this whole thing. Especially since in other testimony it was Anjuan who felt the worst about the stabbings, and he was the one that wanted to stay away from Brice because he knew he was bad news. I think Anjuan has gone down a very bad path in life and now has to serve a lot of time in prison, not related to this case. So he was doing his best to put on a tough front. Jacorey on the other hand. Man, I think this guy has serious trauma related to the whole thing. I didn't get the vibe from him that he was being difficult on purpose. But once again, I could sense that feeling of he not wanting to be viewed as a rat, or lose cred on the streets or something. Over all, these are two very young men, dealing with pressure both inside and outside of the legal system that I think would be tough for anyone. Seeing them drift into the comfort of gangsta mentality, or fight tears, I do feel for them both. But, even after having those thoughts, I couldn't help to wonder, how involved were they. Was it all Brice and they were scared kids? Did they go along willingly? I can't answer that. So all of my softer feelings toward them are held behind a barrier of caution.
