Bit of a personal life update.

Hope you’re all well!

I feel like I sort of need to update you guys on where I’m at and what I’m doing, I’m not sure if it’s really the case but I’ve felt absent the past little while, especially here on Patreon. But I really just wanted to check in with you guys.

I want to say I appreciate you all a fuck ton, you don’t know how much your support on here helps me when it comes to creating the stuff I create, not having to worry as much about ad revenue means I can pour more time and effort into creating better stuff and I really, honestly, appreciate it.

Personal stuff

Been trying to switch things up recently in my life just to try and overcome a bout of anxiety that’s sort of gripped me the last 4 weeks or so. It doesn’t stem from anything hugely major but I was forced to revisit some of the old community drama that happened at the start of 2022 that I personally felt I’d put behind me to move on from. That whole debacle, whether you’re privy to the details or not, was quite simply a mess from all angles on all sides, and it really did leave me a bit scarred if I’m being honest (without being too dramatic). Whenever I have to revisit that or discover people involved in fact haven’t moved on it just sends my anxiety through the roof knowing I might have to deal with confrontation and everything that comes with it on a public forum. All I really want to do is move on and work on the best videos I can, I hold no ill will against anyone, I really never hold grudges, just sucks when others can’t move on, it’s just a ton of negative energy. Due to this I’ve just sort of distanced myself from the online space a bit again which helps me to cope, touching grass is the best medicine really. I suppose writing this helps a bit too. I’ll talk more about it on Jazz Lounge I’m sure.

Hugely sorry for not posting here, this really should be my #1 priority in a lot of ways since you guys are literally paying me. I want to do better.

I have a jazz lounge ready to go and I need to get around to making commentaries on a few movies and shows I’ve seen recently because I said that’s what I’d do. I’ll try my best to get that done and post it all because I should, but also because I do genuinely want to, sometimes I just fall behind and get in my own head about it.

I’ve got some exciting jazz lounge guests lined up for the coming months so that should be a ton of fun.

I want to make some commentaries on ATSV, Andor, probably Barbie and Oppenheimer also, as well as a few others, I just need to get my shit together. When I watch something I should record it right away, get the commentary out there, instead I sit on it and wait and then I just move on because I’m an idiot who can’t do his job 😂

Red Dead Redemption 2 Retrospective

I’m currently working on a HUGE video for RDR2. My plan is to have it out by mid September but you really never know with these things and it could be later. It’s a big one and so it’s just an ever evolving project, but hopefully I can create something insightful and worthwhile.

I did plan also to create a retrospective for Spider-Man and Miles Morales before SM2 comes out because it’d make a ton of business sense but also to get myself in the mood for that sequel. I’m not sure if I’ll have the time but that’s something possibly on the table too.

I just want to say thank you, although I’m clearly going through it a bit, I’m so grateful for your support, kindness and patience. I know your lives don’t revolve around me or my content, but I still feel a particular duty and responsibility to deliver, so just thank you for understanding and also being great to vibe with on stream or the AA Discord, it’s nice to know people have got my back.

Elva and I recently took a trip to Bournemouth. It was a great time and a good getaway, I posted a vlog on the second channel if you care. The Airbnb though was FUCKED… and I’ll have to talk about it on jazz lounge because my god, it was an experience, that’s for sure.

But, like I said, huge thank you folks, and I’ll see you for some more stuff soon. Just wanted to check in and let you know what’s up, how I’m doing and where I’ve been (even if in reality I haven’t been gone long, it feels longer in my head)

TLDR

I’m having a midlife crisis, managing, distancing myself from the online space. Got stuff in the works for Patreon, sorry for falling behind. Working on a big RDR2 videos that’s very time consuming but hopefully will be worth the wait. I have some stories to share with you from my recent trip. Huge thank you, love you, mwuah xx
