Recently, a Filipino-American TikTok star's dance video, featuring a tattoo of the controversial Rising Sun symbol, sparked outrage among Korean netizens. Some took it too far, leading to racist attacks on the Philippines and the #CancelKorea trend in the Philippines. For the first time, we conducted simultaneous street interviews in Seoul and Manila to hear both sides of the story.
