When I saw this in theaters.. I sat there for about 10 minutes just crying after the credits. And mind you I didn't understand everything about the movie at first watch but that feeling at the end when he's screaming that he's dying just tore me apart. And while I am personally not Trans, I do think that this movie has a universal message and people can interpret it differently. Like I don't feel that I lived up to my potential and I wanted so much more for my life. BUT do I change it now? Is there still time? And then this movie gave me such a nostalgic feeling as well. I found the show to have a lot of similarities with Buffy. First we got a character named Tara.. who is kinda the OG when it comes to the whole "bury your gays" troupe. (FUCK WARREN FOREVER ๐คฌ) Then the Pink Opaque ends on season 5 with the main character being buried. Buffy season 5 ends with her dead and being buried. And if I'm not mistaken I think Buffy might have been almost canceled after season 5 too before it went to another network. Also that scene where Marco or Polo is walking with Isabels cut out heart gave me such Gentlemen vibes from Hush. And yes the way I screamed inside when I saw Amber Benson. I wish her cameo was bigger too but I will take it! Glad you really liked it. I am brainstorming my next movie pick for you. You've liked both of my picks so far so I feel like I set the bar high. Lol ๐โค๏ธ

2025-01-10 07:44:10 +0000 UTCI've been noticing a theme going around and i think it started in may and it's that within the 8 months you've been getting a lot of movie request that feature somebody from Buffy for example: Coherence,Love, wedding, marriage, Dave made a maze,Big Gay Love and now I saw the TV Glow. You have reacted to this movies within 8 months and they've all featured somebody from Buffy there's like a Theme going on here.
