It actually happened to my mom, but she knew it was a scam because she had heard of it from friends (and she also only has young granddaughters). When the guy on the other end of the phone said they needed money and help, she told them they would have to figure it out on their own because she never really liked them anyway and hung up. My mom is for sure that bitch. 😂

I love this movie so much. The interviews for this movie with June Squibb were adorable. She was so proud of herself for doing her own stunts at 94. Yes, she is 94! I could not be more amazed. ❤️ I think you might have recognized the actor who played her grandson from Season 1 of White Lotus. He played the son who ran off with the rowers in the end.

If you ever watch it again.. watch after the credits because the director dedicated this to his grandma named Thelma and they showed some real footage of her that they recreated in the movie. Apparently this is kinda based on a true story. His grandma did almost get scammed but they stopped it before it happened. 😁

Pretty sure I got covid or the flu of some sort and this just made me so happy to see someone react to this!! Going back to bed right now but I am definitely watching when I get up!! Yay!! 😁🙌🫶
